LPF Anniversary : Felicitation of Meritorious Students 2022

La Plume Française celebrated its 1st Anniversary on 14th July, 2022, the French National Day. To honour the hard work and dedication of meritorious students, La Plume Française collaborated with l'Amicale to organise a cultural event and prize distribution ceremony.
Felicitation of Meritorious Students
During the event, the President of l'Amicale and also the Director of La Plume Française, Mr. Sunil Sengupta, spoke of the importance of French Language and encouraged the students to give their best in their study of the language. This was followed by a prize and certificate distribution ceremony. Students from various French course were felicitated with certificates. They were also presented with prizes, sponsored by the French Embassy.
A Grand Cultural Event!
But that was not all! A grand cultural event followed the successful prize distribution ceremony. Students of La Plume Française and members of l'Amicale actively participated in various performances, ranging from dance performances, to French skits, to French Songs. To encourage participation, La Plume Française organised a campaign which galvanised the students to hone their skills in the language and to try out different extracurricular activities. The response to this campaign was flabbergasting as students took heartfelt interest in each section of the campaign. The campaign encouraged the students to write essays in French, demonstrate their talents, and perform in the live event. Unique gifts for the winner and runner-up was sponsored by La Plume Française.
A get-together of French Aficionados
The Event was a platform for all the French lovers to come and enjoy the beauty of the language and enjoy the French atmosphere that was provided through the programmes! Students, Participants and the Audience enjoyed together and talked over light refreshments!
The students applauded La Plume Française's efforts and expressed their willingness to participate in such events in the future, a sign of a successful event!
