Consul General of France's visit to Nagpur 2022!

M. Jean-Marc Séré-Charlet is coming to Nagpur on a two day visit. Showing keen interest in the activities of La Plume Française, he has decided to attend the cultural programme organised by La Plume Française, in association with l'Amicale, l'association de la langue française.

Jean-Marc Séré-Charlet, 53, alumnus of "Ecole nationale d’administration" (ENA), is a distinguished diplomat of more than 20 years of experience in the diplomatic and cultural fields. Before coming to Mumbai, he was the Deputy Director at the United Nations Department of the French MFA for 6 years, furthering among others the French stance in the UN Security Council. He has also worked as Counsellor in the Embassy of France in Moscow and in the Permanent Representation of France to the European Union in Brussels, as Cultural Counsellor in the French Embassy in Rome and he was diplomatic advisor to the Minister of Culture and Communication in Paris.

Being the Deputy Head of Mission at the French Embassy in New Delhi from 2013-15, M. Jean-Marc Séré-Charlet has a sincere interest in India and an impressive experience of its culture, history and way of life!

The cultural event would be an opportunity for the students of L.P.F. and the lovers of French language to show their talents and to experience the presence of the Consul General amongst us.

The event will be super-charged with exquisite performances and interactions. A wonderful platform to experience the French culture would be provided to all attendees!

M. Jean-Marc Séré-Charlet would address the invitees through his speech. Mr. Sunil Sengupta, the Director of La Plume Française and the President of l'Amicale would also take the stage to share his experience as a "Professeur de Français" in La Plume Française!
