Campus France held in Nagpur

The directors of La Plume Française, through L’Amicale Nagpur, organised sessions of Campus France at the Department of Foreign Languages, Nagpur University, and at L.A.D College, Nagpur. Monsieur Philippe Guillien, the Attaché for Cooperation at the Consulate of France, Bombay, conducted the programme.

The programme received widespread appreciation from the students. Monsieur Guillien guided the students and highlighted the opportunities at different universities for higher studies in France. He also discussed in detail the scholarships available for the students. During the interactive session, Monsieur Guillien elaborated on the importance of learning the French language, the different French companies in India and in Nagpur and the opportunities of getting jobs there. During the Q&A session, he also elaborated upon the different formalities and procedures required for pursuing higher studies in France. Sunil Sengupta, Saurabh Sengupta, the directors of La Plume Française, along with Mr. Abhay Tikekar, the alternate president of L’Amicale, accompanied Monsieur Guillien throughout the programme and took him for a sightseeing tour of Nagpur between the two seminars.

Monsieur Guillien was impressed by the enthusiasm of the French language students of Nagpur and was very appreciative of the efforts of the members of the French Language Association of Nagpur for organising the seminars in a smooth and efficient manner.
